Physics & Science
Running the school’s Senior Physics Olympiad club, opening up competitions it had never entered, and sitting the written contests — often as the only student in the year group doing so.
Senior Physics Olympics Club
Ranked 20th overall across the province from roughly 85 teams, and 1st in Richmond — a first for the school on record.
Led the senior team this year, having competed on the junior team the year before.

Quantum School for Young Students
A week-long online summer programme hosted by the Institute for Quantum Computing at Waterloo, where selected high schoolers take part in lectures and discussions covering linear algebra and topics within quantum mechanics.
Several members of the muon communication research group were met here and at SHAD.
Palmer Robotics Club
Joined in Grade 8 with no experience; now Co-President for two years of the longest-running VEX-based robotics club in the district.
The only female representative in the club. Hosts competitions and runs weekly robotics activities.
Secured funding and raised $1,000 to support club activities, queuing over 10 VEX kits for student use despite limited school funding.
Hackathons
A group project building a website that turns blurry textbook text and online notes into quizzes and flashcards using OpenAI.
Developed an intentionally “useless” website manipulating alarms, buttons and volume.
Developed a game using light as a beacon to symbolically guide characters to hope.
Contributed to a Tamagotchi-style air quality warner.
