Organisations founded or co-founded across two countries, plus the clubs, libraries
and shelters in between. Most of them exist because of a gap noticed first-hand
— not knowing how to get involved, not having science for two years, not having
anyone else nearby who cared about the same thing.

SciQuest
With the Richmond Public Library
Hosts workshops in partnership with the Richmond Public
Library to introduce elementary students to the sciences
before high school, helping them explore interests and develop a
personal identity around them.
It exists because of a gap I hit myself — something my peers and
I struggled with when making the transition to high school, especially
for those of us who had not been taught science for over two years in
elementary school.

Palmer Helping Hands Club
RC Palmer Secondary
A club that encourages junior (Grade 8–10) and senior students to
engage in school events and volunteer opportunities, with a specific
focus on helping junior students get involved comfortably.
The reason is concrete: in Grade 8, many of my classmates did not
volunteer — not because they did not want to, but because
they did not know how to get involved.
The club has contributed to nearly all Palmer events: Spotlight, Parent
Teacher Conference, Open House, Orange Shirt Day and assemblies, as
well as supporting the Music and Athletics departments and
collaborating with other clubs.
